Jarod Pace, Liam Kelly, Max and Ron Pace

Ron Pace, owner and Master DogTrainer/Instructor of Canyon Crest K-9 Training Center has been training dogs since 1976. Ron has spent years researching the different aspects of dog training and perfecting professional, humane methods of dog training for homes, industries and police departments. He utilizes a blend of positive and traditional training methods. Praise training, the core of our signature teaching style, provides a consistent approach to obedience. He has years of experience in selecting and placing dogs in many aspects of the industry. He assisted with forming K-9 programs for numerous City, County, State and Federal Agencies. He is also the first civilian to be hired to perform drug searches in the Washington State public schools. He has extensive knowledge in trailing, tracking, area search, building search, and narcotic and explosive detection. With the extensive experience in scent detection he has combined that knowledge to train diabetic alert dogs. It is phenomenal work and research has shown that dogs are more accurate and sensitive in the detection of blood sugar changes than the meters that are used. His new book "Pace Yourself" is to be released October 2009.
